San Diego

Clayton and I went to visit the beautiful city of San Diego to check out his law school choices and scope out the area. It is such a beautiful place! We toured California Western and Thomas Jefferson School of Law. After visiting both schools and talking to different counselors Clayton decided he liked Thomas Jefferson. They just remodeled their school and it is seriously incredible! The best part is, it's right downtown which Clayton will love AND we have some friends that live there! Clayton's friend actually goes to Thomas Jefferson, so it will be really great to have Jeremy and his wife Kate to hang out with!
We were only in San Diego for a couple of days so we got the school stuff out of the way on the first day and just hung out and played the rest of the time.

Beautiful beach

San Diego LDS Temple
 Such a gorgeous place
Clayton and his new best gal pal, Jeremy and Kate's daughter, London checking out the seals. He fell in love with this little girl!
They're so weird they just lay there like that in the sun all day!

And on to our next matter of business!
Clayton just found out Thomas Jefferson School of Law accepted him!!!!
Here's how he broke the news to me
He's a man of few words, especially over text.
I promise he's excited :) Silly Clayton.

So here's his school!
Right near the beach in the heart of San Diego!

We are so excited to move to San Diego! We will probably head out there around the end of July! I cannot wait to soak up the sun and live in such a cool city!

First Anniversary

I can't believe how fast our first year of marriage went by! We both worked full time while Clayton was preparing for his LSAT and our anniversary practically snuck up on us!
We went on a vacation to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico to celebrate!!! :)

 unlimited pina coladas, yes please

 Heading to the city

Dinner on the beach watching the sunset

Cute little kid selling gum and mints

 On our anniversary!

Sweet Clayton gave me this necklace while we were in Mexico.

And when we got back he surprised me with one more gift. He found this incredible locket from an antique jeweler online. It is from the late 1800s! It actually came with the original photos inside. He replaced them with photos from our wedding. Cue heart melt!
Clayton is so thoughtful and is always spoiling me. He loves surprising me and it is so sweet. Not sure how I got so lucky!

A few weeks later my mom got mad at me because our wedding cake was taking up tons of room in her freezer. Woops! We forgot to eat our cake on our anniversary! But when we did unthaw it, it was still delicious. Lemon was a good choice! :) I love you Clayton Brown!!!

Hawaiian Honeymoon

Clayton and I spent our honeymoon in Hawaii at the Grand Wailea Resort in Maui!! My mom spoiled us with that trip! We had the most amazing time just relaxing and enjoying being married :)

Koi fish all over our resort

Obsessed with my ring! I just love how simple and timeless it is. He did such an amazing job picking it out for me!

 Lovin the beach!

 At the Luau!!!
