After about two and a half years of dating, sweet Clayton casually invited me to go out on a date Friday October 15, 2010. "Sure I'll go out with you," I said. It's not like we didn't get together everyday anyway. Silly Clayton. So obviously I'm excited and hopeful that Friday is THE night. He's not telling me where we're going and I am trying to pick the perfect outfit midst dying from anxiety and I decide.. Nah this is too easy, he probably thinks I think he's going to propose tonight so I put on a normal outfit. He picks me up, and I'm begging him to tell me where we are going and he's not budging trying to keep it a surprise!
and we pull up to La Caille.
It's fine guys, I ended up wearing black pants and this regular old blazer jacket on our date. :-S But it didn't matter.... dinner was amazing, conversation was amazing, dessert was amazing. Still no questions popped at this point and I'm thinking the coast is clear.
We decide to go outside to walk around the grounds and it looks a like this...
It's all lit up and just so romantic! and I am so excited! and we stop, and he lets me know how much he loves me, how happy I make him, and then he knelt down and asked me to be his wife.
